"Women and girls violence against UNiTE."
As many as 1 in 4 women experience physical or sexual violence during pregnancy. It is a fact that shows us how women are still threatened as the victim of violence. Some countries indeed already have acknowledged this action as a criminal but there is no guarantee that all women and girls have been protected their right as human being. That is why, it is necessary, as the world biggest organization which solves world’s issues, to see this as a crucial problem. UNiTE ( United Nation to End Violence against Women) is the answer to this status quo.
Providing title to end violence against women, this little side of United Nation, has some goals to reach their goals. There are adopting and enforcing national laws to address and punish all forms of violence against women and girls, adopting and implement multi-sectoral national action plans, strengthening data collection on the prevalence of violence against women and girls, increasing
public awareness and social mobilization, and addressing sexual violence in conflict. These goals are adequate enough to be a parameter which will be used by UN to seek the key to end the violence against women.
After put some goals to be a parameter, they directly do action to solve this issue effectively. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign calls for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls in all parts of the world. The forms that are chosen are by influencing laws and policies, mobilizing to wake the awareness up,
and partnering with others, such as UNFPA, UNICEF and so on, to make events with purpose to encourage people to fight violence against women. So, UNiTE will make number of violence against women case decrease little by little.
